Lord of the Flies

             The movie "Lord of the Flies" is an old black and white film based on a group of British school boys trapped on a deserted island. In the movie there are six main characters they are Ralph, Jack, Piggy, Sam, Erick and Roger.
             After the plane had crashed Ralph and Piggy went off exploring the island. They had found a shell on the shore, and used this to call the other boys. As all the boys had come they all rested on the sand and they had to have a vote on who would be the leader of the tribe they were going to form. The nominees were Ralph and Jack. Ralph had got voted leader and had to make rules for everyone to obey by. Jack felt that this would be a good idea.
             The boys soon become used to living on the island. When the boys play they still obey some sense of civility toward one another. Jack continues to hunt, while Piggy, who is considered as a weird nerd boy, he stills considers building places to sleep. A plane passes by the island, but does not stop because the fire has burned out. Piggy blames Jack for letting the fire die, because Jack had gathered the other boys and were too obsessive with hunting for a pig at the cost of his duty. Jack didn't like getting told that it was his fault so he punches piggy in the face and breaks one of his glass lenses. Jack doesn't give Piggy and Ralph any of the pig that they had hunted for.
             The boys break up into two groups. Ralph and piggy stay together and all the other boys go with Jack because they then feel more secure with him. Whilst living on the island the boys start to forget about civilisation and Jack and his tribe start to kill one another.
             Piggy and Ralph went to make peace with Jack and the rest of the boys and too try and come to a compromise to help one another and find away to get off the island.
