This report is on the book entitled THE JESUS I NEVER KNEW BY PHILLIP YANCEY. First I want to start out saying that my view on who Jesus is and what he means to me has changed. Mr. Yancey brought out in his book the many misconceptions his own people the Jews had of him and even the present day Christian and their views of who Jesus is and the way he went about teaching, preaching, healing and forgiving. I mean after reading the description and hearing Michael on the show reading it I really thought I had a bead on this Jesus thing but I have to admit that I was totally wrong. Phillip has broke it down into who Jesus really is and what he can do and who he does it for.
