The article I read was about a foster mother whom put her 8-year-old child in the garbage after she died in her house. The article states," Officials said the girl died of natural causes due to a severely underdeveloped brain with lesions, conditions she had at birth." The mother first told the police that the child was missing, but this was not the case. She later confessed that she threw the child away. It seems as though when someone dies in your home that your emotions may allow you to do some dreadful things. This child deserved a proper burial just like every other human. The article state," Johnson's lawyer, Murray Singer, called his client a "model citizen" who had received awards as a foster mother. He said her breakdown was the result of caring for three disabled children 24 hours a day." The mother could not have cared too much because she did the worst thing you can do to this poor child. Who in their right mind would put their dead child in a garbage can? It does not matter if it is not your biological child or not the fact of the matter is that it is morally wrong. The article says," she pleaded guilty to improper disposal of a dead body and falsely reporting an incident in exchange for 60 days in jail and three years probation. She faced up to a year in jail if convicted after trial." They should have sentenced her to some kind of institution. Any person who would do this is obviously not sane.
