The Philippines with its mainly Christian character is a special case. Australia and New Zealand, who tend to belong to the Western-Christian world in cultural terms, must also rank as part of the Asia-Pacific region. (See table 1, page 8)
             So is it possible that this region could have shared values? It is much more difficult to define Asian values than European ones, or any other ones, since the discussion on values in each Asian country varies due to the heterogeneous religious background.
             It is believed that there exist a stratum of common values and beliefs that most Asians follow as a guide through the world; these formed the concept of Asian Values.
