"Man Who Cleans the Floors"The
The torture chamber is a place where torture happens, not just physical torture, but mental torture as well. The torture has no preference of its victims, the people being torture, the torturers, and the torture chamber effects the people who work.
In Marget Atwood 's "Footnote to the Amnesty Report on Torture" the physical torture that is placed upon the people being tortured is obvious. The vomit, the shed teeth, urine, and the other bodily fluids on the floor are good examples of the physical torture that happens inside a tortured chamber. The physical torture that is placed on the people who work at the torture chamber is less obvious than the torture that is placed on the people who are being tortured. The man who cleans the floor suffers from also. His physical torture is loosing his scene of smell, but I guess that loosing his scene of is not that bad of thing seeing that the place must likely reeks of a horrible smell that I do not want to imagine.
The mental torture happens inside a torture chamber, also outside of it, is not as obvious as the physical torture used upon the victims at the torture chamber. The mental torture that is used on the victims is the things that the torturer use upon them to get them talk, not physical pain on them, but on family members or the possible physical torture that could be placed upon them if they did not say what they knew. The mental torture that is placed upon the torturers inside the torture chamber is that they don't care anymore about what they do there. I am sure when they first started doing it they found it hard, but as time progressed they lost the ability to care about humankind and the pain they inflict on someone, and that is the mental aspects of torture of the torturers.
