In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare the two young lovers' fall in love at first sight. They had no idea who each other was until their friends told them they were son and daughter of two feuding families. They did not realize some of the problems they would face until they found out this fact. The hatred between the families was the major obstacle they faced. There families have hated each other so much that every time they had a confrontation it would escalate to a fight. I think some of the things they could have done were to talk to their parents and try to end the fighting. No one really knows why it started in the first place. I think if they heard how silly it was from there own son or daughter that they would at least think about it.
             The only other options for them to be together is to secretly get married and leave their home and never come back. If they got married and stayed in Verona it would also cause problems. All the people who knew of there marriage would be forced to lie. Almost every time someone lies it gets out and things are worse. They would not be able to live with each other. When they wanted to see each other it would have to be someplace where no one knew them. It would be like they were never married. Juliet would still have to marry Paris and she would have to act like she loved him, Romeo probably couldn't handle that.
             In conclusion I think that the way Romeo and Juliet love each other so much would over come any problem they ever faced. Both of the answers I mentioned above should prove that love is a strong emotion when both people share it equally and that they should be able to withstand the criticism of others. Just because their parents don't like each other doesn't mean they have to.
