English learner

             Language is a tool for communication. The more languages we know, the more chances we have to connect with everybody. Therefore, nowadays there are a lot of people who try to learn other languages as their second language or third language beside their mother's tongue. So do I. And my process of learning English has taken a long time.
             The first time I got to know English is when I was seven years old. My mom invited an English teacher to teach me and some my friends of the same age, in order to fill up our free time in the summer holiday. It was so funny because that was the first time I tried to pronounce the letters A, B, C ... and the numbers from 1 to 10 in a really new and strange language. At that time, I was excited to learn this new language. It seemed as I was discovering new things while teacher was showing me what a "trái táo" (apple) was called in English. However, my first English course did not last long since the summer holiday ended and I had to go back school.
             Later, I did not take any English course until I was in sixth grade. English was one of my subjects at school. Although there were about twelve subjects that made me not be able to concentrate on studying English, my excitement for English was still true and I got good marks. However, the time in class was limited so that I and other classmates could not practice either speaking or listening much. I was taught from textbook which focused on vocabulary and grammar. And then I was learning English the same way when I was in high school. All my assignments were doing grammar exercises. That is why I was pretty good in grammar but in speaking and listening, I was not.
             In 1999, after graduating from high school, I entered the University of Economics. During four years in university, following the course work, I had to focus on learning special terms that were necessary for my major. Some of these special terms or words were "...
