             Now is the time that we choose, do we want this country to end up being full of hopeless drunkards who spend their time dwelling on what could have been or could be, while at the same time drowning away our goals and expectations, thus making us only capable to cope with the knowing that these things wont be accomplished. The only people who want to drink are those who want to forget, about who they are and escape their troubles of life. Or do we except our existence and be thankful for life, this way we can decide our own future and make our goals a reality. There is a lot that we can achieve by remaining sober, the hours that we would have spent drinking can now be replaced with activities that benefit our life. We can spend this time to help build our community by helping each other out so we can all have a happy life. We would be able to come together and build houses and support each other with food and supplies. We can live in a country were we not only have piece but are capable of having responsibilities that help us have a productive and flourishing nation. Our first step was to remove alcohol away from our streets. Thankfully a little more that a decade ago "The Maine Law" was passed, resulting in being the first state to be completely "dry." This helped open the door to help other states in following this lead. Most taverns and homes have substituted this "Demon Rum" for healthier drinks, like Fruit Juices, carbonated sodas, and water. But not all states have made that step yet, and those who haven't most of the citizens can make a pledge to stop drinking. It is called the American Temperance Pledge and it goes like this.
