which are very easy to use as a first timer. On the other hand Mac's are also very selfish. It seems like programs and additional peripherals for Mac's are a bit pricey. Plus not just any program will work for a Mac; you have to get programs that were designed for Mac's. PC's also have their own ups and downs too. On the upside the PC's are a bit more affordable and come with a lot of extra goodies. They are also easy to use and it is a lot easier to find programs to use of your PC. The programs are easier to find because all PC's use the same kind of programs, which can be shared between different types of computers. This comes in handy when most of you friends, like mine, have PC's. We can share the programs with each other or do projects on each others computers without worrying about if the format is right or not. The PC's do have their downsides too though. The technology is a bit behind that of the Mac, and I know more people who have had PC's crash on them then the people I know who have Mac's.
             In the long run I think I will stick with the PC. The reason behind this is because I have been using one for years and I am used to how they work. Maybe in the future I will get a Mac but for now it will have to be a PC. Also I know more about PC's because I have owned one for so long.
             If I were able to get a new computer I would want one that was really fast. I would probably pick a Pentium processor over a Celeron processor. The reason I would pick a Pentium is because they are faster and are better for streaming video and are generally faster. I would choose to get the Pentium 4, or whatever new processor that comes out by the time I finish this paper. The processor would have to be at least an 800mgz processor, because I want to have a desktop computer. I would want the computer to have quite a bit of RAM.
