As a parent, one of the goals is to raise children who eventually find their way to success in life, but unfortunately parenting isn't as glorious as everyone thinks.
             Having a baby makes couples worry less about their relationshiop, makes less worry about their sex life, and affects their work. Eighty percent of mothers said that lack of sleep was a common cause of arguments and sixty percent admitted that the strain of continually waking up in the middle of the night to feed their child had almost eliminated their sexual desire (Market). Ninety percent of mothers over 34 said that their relationship had been negatively affected by the birth (Greenberg). It is not worth it to have a child and make the relationship struggle with the lover that you wanted to extend the family with in the first place. Two thirds of fathers did not wake up when their baby cried. One fifth admitted that they never got up to help at all (Jagger). Women were left to cope with only four hours of sleep a night in their child's first four months (Lang). What is the point of having a husband if all the work is on the women's shoulders. They mise well be a single parent and take all the credit for raising the child themself.
