Today's economy relies heavily on the support of student employment. Working while attending school is the most beneficial opportunity a student can have. More and more students today are employed with part-time jobs; these jobs prepare students for the real world. It gives them a great opportunity for experience, preparation for post-secondary education, and making money. These three things will help them in their path of life, and prove beneficial in the end.              Experience is what the modern employer is looking for in a hard worker. Without experience in a work place, you are most likely going to be passed up for another person with 3-4 years past experience working with a team, or independently. With experience, it shows that you can maintain a job, and work cooperatively. Experience is some becoming more and more mandatory today as well. It is quoted that about 60-80% of full time job placements require experience. With jobs getting high-tech and team related, where must you get this experience? Part time jobs give needed experience to a student and prepare him or her for the full time work field. So part time jobs are required of students in order to help them succeed. Experience may be important, but even more important than this is a person's post-secondary education.
             Without post secondary education, as in a university degree or a college degree, it is probably the most difficult way to start off one's life.
