What are the Proper Aims of Education?
             I feel the aims of education should be to prepare students to enter a productive labor force, and to preserve the harmony of a civic life. Education should ultimately teach intellectual, spiritual, civic, and moral aspects of life. This will ensure well-rounded and balanced individuals.
             Educators should strive to develop a quality education system that satisfies the needs of the individual and society. Educators should focus full energy and endless efforts to give all children, regardless of their background, an equal opportunity to receive the best education. Students should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential. I think all teachers should be sensitive and responsive to the needs and wants of students. Educators should be dedicated, committed, well trained, disciplined, and responsible. Curriculum for education should be efficient and effective so educators can manage their time wisely. This in turn will result in effective teaching, which will produce effective learning. I feel educators should be viewed as prestigious and should be paid wealthy salaries, which will attract quality educators.
             Prayer and Bible reading are the primary medium through which all people express their relationship to the divine. However society officially bans the Bible and prayer in the public education system. Education should offer programs that nurture the Holy name of Jesus and make know the gospel message revealed in the person and teachings of Jesus Christ. By including holy aspects of education, students can learn to be morally responsible for their actions and to respect the rights of all people. Spiritual teaching helps individuals keep the love and beauty of God first in all things. Individuals should learn to celebrate his presence through prayer and worship.
