The Hard Reality
             I have an acquaintance who is uttering with difficulty. It is really difficult to understand what he means. I endeavored many times to concentrate to get his intention, but it was useless since he always felt shy to speak to other people. However, I tried to know the reasons of his way of talking and his shyness, but he was always silent. Hence, I decided to ask my grandmother, who is an amiable person, to tell me about this person since she knows his family well. She told me that his father was the prime cause of what he is now, so I felt sorry and I started to ask myself what is a real meaning of the word father? Does it only mean the one who brings you to this world or does it have a hidden meaning? Then I felt a great curiosity to know the story of this strange man; therefore I asked my grandmother to tell me the story, in great detail, and she did not refuse. She started to say the story with a great look of sadness and a deep worried voice. She told me how miserable his childhood was. He led a completely difficult life as he lost his mother when he was born. Therefore, he was a lost and helpless child. His neighbors and his relatives, occasionally, came to feed, dress or look after him. Five years after his mother death, his father married another woman whom his relatives believed would compensate Hossam with maternal love, and affection which he lost when he was born. Nevertheless, his stepmother was a woman with no feelings; she treated him cruelly as if she is a woman without a heart. She always hit him brazenly, and gave him little freedom. Incidentally, she hardly let him play with his peers. Moreover, she not only commanded him to clean his room, but also to wash his clothes, even when he was only ten years old. However, that was not new since stepmothers in general...
