             After being dismissed from the Birling factory, Eva was fortunate enough to manage to get work at Milwards, a clothes shop for upper class women. It was a very good opportunity for her as here she could earn a little more money then she could working in any factory or production line at that time. She would have had a more agreeable standard of living and others of higher social standing would not have regarded her job with as much contempt. She would have enjoyed this work and thought herself very fortunate, as any working class girl would.
             'It seems she liked working there. It was a nice change from the factory. And now she felt like she was making a good fresh start.'
             Sheila, who regularly visited Milwards, was choosing a dress one day and was told by Eva that the one that she had selected would not suit her.
