The one word that ties together the purpose of relationship building, assertiveness, career planning, networking, and money is "success". To achieve most of society's common goal of success it is necessary that one use all of the preceding ideas. By learning to build relationships you learn to deal with different types of people in different situations and therefore enable yourself to thrive well in working situations and in everyday life. Assertiveness is a quality that is very important in achieving one's goals because in order to get what you want in life you have to push yourself and also be demanding concerning respect and fairness. One of the main steps in becoming successful is having a plan especially when it comes to one's career because then you are best able to apply a method in achieving that career path. Once you have a career plan mapped out you can take the steps necessary concerning school, your major, and internships so one can be more desirable in that chosen field. Networking is also very important in helping one to "get their foot in the door" because, in reality, in today's society it is all about whom you know and about having connections to get the best positions. Through networking and getting to know as many people as possible it betters your chances in getting hired at certain places and also in getting good references. And ultimately, although happiness is real success, the truth of the matter is that we all need money in life and the more one can make of it, the better off one is, which equals more piece of mind for the future.
