             More than simply lacking false illusions, Bauman believes that postmodernity will provide for a "re-enchantmentâ€" for the world. This re-enchantment is something that will allow humans to add some variety, some excitement into their lives, keeping away from the dull, protracted way of living that the messy world provides for us. However, while Bauman believes that postmodernity provides humans with the power to re-enchant our lives, with a power to find certain aspects of their surroundings that are, perhaps, more enchanting, I disagree. Re-enchanting life, then, is simply seeing the beauty of one's surroundings.
