             The statement is a threshold of many different viewpoints and opinions that people can have. Some may believe that the statement is correct in saying that if u love someone, u should have sex with that person, yet, on the other hand, some people may disagree with the statement as they see it as a hoax and unmeaning . Whether an individual agrees or disagrees with the statement further actions are to be made. In turn, decision making is involved.
             ''If you love me, you will have sex with me''. This in a way is a trap. If a conversation came about between a couple and the male directed this statement to the female, she is ruined if she says yes and also ruined if she refuses. If she was to say yes she must look at the issues. These issues include pregnancy, STDS, aids and contraception.
             On the other hand if she was to tell her partner no and refuse to have sex with him then she has to face rejection, depression, and or redundancy from her partner and perhaps others.
             Furthermore, the statement is playing with emotions and control issues within a relationship this will have consequences on who will make decisions about contraception and what those decisions will be.
             Ideally, the decisions on whether to have sex or not in reaction towards the statement are influenced by a range of factors. These factors include your partner, family, media, peers, school, church and law. Importantly, these factors affect an individual's self-esteem and decision making skills.
