ove with Christian's beauty and( though she is unaware of it) Cyrano's mind. She seems to be a bit shallow by only judging by look, but as the play goes on she realizes beauty isn't everything. After finding out that Cyrano was the one writing the letters she fell in love with him even though he was an ugly man. Quote: "You must have suffered; for you must have seen how frivolous I was; and to be loved for the mere costume, the poor casual body you went about in-to a soul like yours, that must have been tortured! Therefire with words you revealed your heart. Now that image of you which filled my eyes first-i see better now, and I see it on more!"
             Christian de Neuvillette - Cyrano's friend and partner. A handsome man of noble spirit and generosity. He is in love with Roxane, but he is not good with words so he has Cyrano speak and write for him. He is wise but has trouble speaking his mind. Quote:p84 Act 3 "Bah! Any one can pick a quarrel.              Comte de Guiche - The villain of the play, Richelieu's nephew, who wants Roxane as his mistress, and wishes her to marry Valvert. Cyrano and Christian ruined this for him so as revenge, he sent the Gascony Guards to almost certain death.
