Teddy

It must have been hard on Teddy to live with his aunt and uncle after his parents left him for reasons not
given to us. But Teddy had to live with it and so to make the best of his time with his relatives he had his only
friend, his imagination. Teddy spent hours in his attic playing with his 'paper dolls' as they were called by his
uncle when he furst saw them. But these 'paper dolls' meant a lot to Teddy . They were his only friends and only
means of entertainment or as is seemed in this story. This was one of his personal charecteristics which i liked
when i read this story. His imaginary world was one he made up and in it he was King Theodore the ruler of a

general was described to be very harsh and mean just as his uncle.

they are times mentioned in which through all their nagging and insulting they showed a little sympathy and love
towards him and he felt it. There was also a time mentioned when he went trout fishing with his uncle and they
sort of bonded. I like Teddy's imaginary world because it shows his inner emotions which means that he is
sensitive and he considers himself as an indepent child because of the way he describes himself as king in his
'World'. His imaginary world also shows that he is smarter then he may seem because of the way his language
changes when he talks o the people in his imaginary world and when he talks to his aunt and uncle. His
emotions are expresses when he talks in his world but to his aunt and uncle he is just a dull little boy who does
nothing but go and play in the attic.
The part of this story that i dont like are the personalities of his aunt and uncle which are pretty rude and
