My movie review is on 'snow falling on cedars¡. My oppion of this movie is that it was a little too boring and didn¡t really go anywhere in the long run. But it did have its good points; the camera shots were fantastic and the actors acting ability was also good.
             The story is about a boy named Ishmael (Ethan Hawk) who falls in love with a Japanese girl named Atsu (Uki Koda). Their love was not allowed in the society back then due to racial issues. Ethan is faced with racial decisions and other problems when a 'white¡ man is killed and a Japanese man is accused of murder.
             I think Ethan Hawk was a bad choice of actor in this film, he just did not capture the feeling of his character. All of the other actors were great and played their rolls well.
             The cinematography was fantastically done, the director really captured the feeling that you were in the film with them. The sound effects and directing was cool.
             I think Snow falling on Cedars was an okay movie, it had its boring points and its good points. It had a good message about racism and cruelty to the Japanese people. I think the main message this movie was trying to give you was that we should all treat people with respect no matter if they are black/white or from another country.
             I give Snow falling of Cedars ƒÀƒÀ out of ƒÀƒÀƒÀƒÀƒÀ I think Troll Lady and Gnome Man (from the movie show) would agree with me.
