Moving on

             Throughout my adult life, I have moved three times. I was surprised and appreciative because each time that made my life more colorful and more progressive. Each time, for me, was a significant milestone that affected my whole life. I really enjoy my life.
             Ten years ago when I entered college I moved from my parents¡¯ house into a small apartment. That was the first time I lived alone. Although I had to overcome many difficulties, leaving home and exploring one¡¯s own dreams are a very important part of maturing. My parents always gave me help and confidence when I encountered the problems. I was encouraged with my parents¡¯ saying: try to do the very best. I have learned how to cook, how to arrange daily life and even how to take care of others and myself. These experiences bring more advantages to my future life. After these years, I succeed, and was employed in the biggest company as an assistant manager in Tianjin where I lived. I had had proven myself to be stronger and independent.
             The second time I moved was when I was raising a family. My husband is a very kind man. I am no longer alone with my husband. We take care of each other. We encourage each other to learn more knowledge and new skills in order to adapt to the booming society. We face problems together and take time to solve difficulties together. Most of the time, we can have common points of view to deal with problems. Through these experiences, I have increased self-awareness and the awareness of my partner, and also exploration of the others¡¯ feeling, which are extremely important in communicating with others. Those capabilities affect my career deeply.
             The most significant milestone is that we decided to go to Canada. We have thought about this for a long time. It isn¡¯t simply like just moving out from one place to another.
