Cause and Effect

             Wouldn't it be nice if we lived in a world of non-violence? Yes, but we don't. We live in a world were children are taking over. They are shooting at school. Why?, because of the lack of attention they are getting from parents, or being put under pressure by peers, or just society itself.
             Lack of parenting can lead children into the wrong path. When parents don't sit and communicate with their child, they may go elsewhere, and they may end up doing nothing but wrong. If parents have a religious background, they may lead their child in the right direction. Most children do not have a father figure in their lives to set the ground rules. Although mothers are there, they need someone to be tough on them not literally, but someone with a "strong-hand." Both the mother and the father need to teach their child to go in the right path, and they need to teach their child right from wrong. With no guidance from either parent, their child will end up making their own decisions, or they may follow in their peer's footsteps.
             Peers also have a big influence on why teenagers act the way they do. These days teens re being picked on by their peers. After being bullied so much, it will make one's self-esteem extremely low. For example, if one has clothes on that aren't name brand, or plain old raggedy, he or she may get talked about horribly, and it may make the person being picked on feel terrible. If that person is tired of putting
             up with people picking on them, he or she may go crazy. Being in a gang can also be a major effect on teens. Some kids form gangs in order to feel needed or superior, and some kids just want to be mean.
             Today's society evokes teenage behavior. The media shows a lot of violence happening in today's world. When teens watch the news, what do they see, they see someone that has been shot, or someone that has done the shooting. After the teen has seen violence on
