It was a nice day in Stuart, Florida. The news said that Hurricane France's would hit Stuart. This was the second Hurricane to hit Florida in one month. Hurricane France's was a catagory four when we were forced to evacuate by the Department of Children and Families. My foster mom Missy and my foster sisters Tabitha, Dorothy and I decided to go to South Carolina. We left at 6:30 am on September/02,2004 with a fourteen hour drive ahead of us, going to South Carolina. We made a few pit stops to get food, gas and use the bathroom. Missy offered to give him money but he would not take the money. Well, needless to say, we had power but no air condition. Monday night we had power, phone and air condition but no cable. Missy said we might not ever have cable again. Tabitha, Dorothy and I cut down trees and pulled them to the road. Missy gave us all sixty dollars each.
