Moresque, Lock and Hobbs influenced the American Revolution in many ways. These philosophers of the 17th and 18TH century also structures American government.
             Montesquieu, a philosopher in the mid-1700's believed that a limited monarchy would work; the people needed someone to rule them. There would be stability in the monarch if government on religion were separated. Having these changes would create strong structure for government. Montesquieu paved the path for many of the rules we have today like "church and state" and how schools are not aloud to teach or practice religion without the say of parents." women do not introduce , but are themselves an object of luxury"(montesquie,102) was the feling of monesquie and many of the male philosepghes.
             Rousseau was a man of many opinions, and thoughts on government. Rousseau thoughts were that there should be a working democracy. That "Everybody is born an individual, compassionate". Rousseau believed with everyone voting, the decisions are made in everyone's best interest. Just like in today's society, we choose what we want to happen in your government; there is order, if someone does not like something they have the opportunity to do something about it. He thought that all people could be trusted to govern themselves, everyone had the same rights.
             Hobbs was a philosopher in the late 1500's and early1800's. he believed "men are in a natural sate of war, why do they always carry arms and why so the have keys to lock their doors?", he believed that all men were corrupt and evil, that the only good type of government was an absolute monarchy, that governments were created to protect people from their own selfishness and cru linty.
