1.) In my opinion, the five most important characteristic values of a Taoist King include acceptance of all things, acting as a loving parent, not interfering with the natural flow of things, a trust of the people, and humility. Let's begin with discussing the Taoist's acceptance of all things.
             Taoists believe that everything is the way it is for a reason, and no one has the right to try to impose change or conformity. Because of this belief, the acceptance of all things is a crucial principal. The following are three passages that defend this belief.
             "The Tao doesn't take sides;
             it gives birth to both good and evil.
             She welcomes both saints and sinners."
             This passage pretty much speaks for itself, but I feel that it demonstrates clearly the belief that everything, good and bad, is accepted whole-heartedly and not discriminated against.
             "The Master has no mind of her own.
             She works with the mind of the people.
             She is also good to people who aren't good.
             This passage also exemplifies the belief that even those who are not good people should be treated as equals. Every person is just as important as the next.
             And there will be nothing you can't do."
             This passage is very straightforward in the idea that the acceptance of all things is ultimately important. If you are open and acceptant, you will be able to do anything.
             Next, I am going to discuss the idea of the importance of a Taoist King acting as a loving parent.
