The argument seems to be if God exists why did he let 9/11 take place? This is gathered from all the acts of the Frontline documentary. There are pieces to this argument in the acts, but it is also narrated from the beginning of the film. For example the opening question asked how could God. To which they received no answer. Then if it's not God's doing, it is evil. The terrorists claimed they did it for God; some say if so then never believe God. The fundamental question aroused - why me, why her, why God.
             Act 1 entitled September 11th, was very well put together. The point of view was third person, yet the reporters and producers showed video footage that was very detailed and new to me. It was not the old repetitive things. For example, I watch CNN Headline news everyday, and whenever September 11th footage is shown, it will be the same clip as if it was recycled through various news programs. Frontline did an excellent job of gathering fresh new clips. I have heard of the people jumping from the Twin Towers, but not until now have I seen it. The plane flight into the buildings, papers in the sky; all the bystanders could do was watch, and question their faith.
             As I went deeper into the Frontline documentary: Faith and Doubt at Ground Zero, the same arguments poses it's many times. Have we been betrayed by religion? others find themselves not as strong in faith, with no definite answer to those fundamental questions: why me, why her, why God. I feel if you have doubt in faith that is an open door for evil. I'd like to say Frontline did a very good job focusing on different arguments and point of views. The producers and reporters presented the show in such a way that I was able to stay focus; while at the same time allowed me to probe and criticize where it was due.
