             My father was born and raised in Romania, and when
             Hitler came in in the Holocaust, there were Christians
             who risked their lives to smuggle him [my father] and
             his family out of Romania when it was legal to kill him
             just because he was a Jew. Today, here we are, across
             from a Jewish delicatessen that is against us what we
             do here. They can't see the correlation. But in the same
             way the Jews were killed just for being Jews, now babies
             are killed just for being babies (Day, 79).
             The activists also believe that patients who feel abortion is the only solution, are taking "the easy way out" and that the women are self-serving.. They feel that a complex; long term problem can be solved immediately by a trip to the abortion clinic, but that may not be the best decision. Many activist organizations offer help to pregnant women. In many instances a woman doesn't have the financial means to raise a child properly, and the organizations offer housing, and feeding. Also, some offer, instant adoption immediately after birth. Though pregnant women are offered several alternatives, they usually choose the abortion itself (Lowenstein, 20). Their beliefs also conclude in when they say that human life should not have to be justified, or to prove itself worthy to continue. Abortion never solves the problem, they say, it only complicates it (Day, 83).
             The debate that the Pro-Choice followers believe is simple. Their feelings on the procedure of an abortion is just the same as that of plastic surgery, which is that even if a procedure is unnecessary but safe, by law a doctor must adhere to the requests of the patient, and that this procedure should be private and personal as that of any other (Day, 92). In most instances, a woman's reason for abortion is due to their own economic stand...
