It was a long time coming, but it was here. I had finally gotten my license, after what seemed like a millennium. My parents were quite happy for me. Being the oldest I could now help ease the stress of the transporting my three younger sisters. (not to mention running errands for my parents) Immediately it seemed they surrendered their firm grasp on the keys to the sleek, red Tahoe parked in front of the house. I politely pretended to hear their warnings of hazards on the road as I ran out the front door and hopped into the driver's seat! There was no stopping me now, and I was off to pick up my friends Rachel, Ashley and Nicole. This was going to be a very memorable Friday night.
             After picking up the girls we embarked on a night on the town. And I, wanting to show off my recently fashioned driving skills, was being a little "reckless". There were no other cars around and I wanted to have some fun...and impress the girls. I was pulling fishtail turns, screeching the tires and driving on the wrong side of the road.
             "I feel like I'm in England!" Ashley would yell as she poked her head out of the sunroof.
             Though I could barely hear her above the blaring music.
             I felt care and worry free. We were headed for the first big party of the school year, and rather quickly at that. I was so preoccupied with the road and talking to my passengers that I didn't notice the blue and red lights flashing in my rear view mirror. I kept driving until I casually glanced to my left to check my blind spot and spotted a police car with a police officer signaling me to pull over. Fear and embarrassment overtook me as the officer approached the car. Then to top it all off my friends had to say "Great, now we're going to be late!"
             "Evenin' young lady," he said, "you know why I stopped you?"
