Winning is victory by defeating others in a particular competition or fight. Many people do anything to win. They take desperate measures to win such as lying, cheating, steal and even killing because all they care is about winning. Although many of them are good people, they do not think of the consequences that will follow their rash actions.
             For instance, Joe Keller from All My Sons does not think about the consequences. "Winning" is all that he care about and in this case, winning is money, and Joe does not want to "lose". Joe is the head of a business that made aero engine parts. One day the production line began to make cracked cylinder heads. Steve Deever, Joe's deputy manger called Joe at home to ask him what to do. Joe was more concerned with the loss of production so he told Steve to weld over the cracks and he also mentioned that he would take full responsibility for if anything happens. A few weeks later, twenty-one airplanes crashed and killed the pilots. Investigation showed that the crashes were due to the fault in the cylinders. Joe ends up getting released from authority while Steve is still in prison. At the end of the play, Joe is forced to accept his responsibility and his suicide is a must to restore the moral order.
             Starpower is game where a certain group gains power and the rest lose the power. When I participated in this game, I was part of the "privileged" group. I did not feel an iota of sympathy for the rest of my class because I felt that if they were in my position, they would have acted the same exact way. In other words, they would have taken away points from the other groups as well. This shows that humans are selfish. More importantly, they care about winning the game. They forget about ethical and moral issues and focus only on the exhilaration of winning.
             All My Sons is not a very enjoyable play. Arthur Miller shows us that we, as humans
