Many People think that Malcolm X had no flaws, this is wrong Malcolm X lived
the prime years of his life committing many crimes. Not only this but after converting to
Islam in prison he still had flaws but he could not see them in his own eyes. Before
Malcolm X converted over to Islam he had three main flaws. These include him being a
hustler, him being violent, and him going to prison for dealing as well as doing drugs.
Also, after converting to Islam he developed three more flaws. These flaws include him
believing too much in himself, his very intelligent teachings that weren't all right, and he
got so committed he blinded himself of reality.
It seems to me that Malcolm X's flaws before converting to Islam were very bad.
In fact, many of these flaws involved crime. In the film his main flaw was him being a
hustler. He supported his hustler actions by sleeping with white girls, cheating on the
white girls, doing drugs, and being violent. His next main flaw was he was dealing as
well as doing drugs. This led him to the last main flaw before converting to Islam which
is where he goes to jail for his drug dealing and drug usage. This brought on the change
in his life, a change not only for him but for the people that listened and respected his
Malcolm X not only has flaws before converting over to Islam but after also.
These flaws come together as the end of the film comes. The flaws that he had
were transparent to him but not to his peers. They included how he believed to
much in himself, how his teaching were very intelligent but wrong sometimes,
and how he was so committed that he blinded himself of reality. A prime
example of this is his believing in the separation between races. He believed so in
this that he blinded himself of reality and found out how it affected him.
