Keep Away From That Machine

             On November 28, 1922 there was a man who invented a machine and his name was Jeremiah Wilson. Now this machine was designed to let you be almost anything that you wanted. Whether that was that you wanted to be the best writer, the best basketball player, the prettiest, or the best mom or dad, or sister or brother. Anything you could think of, this machine was supposed to deliver. Well, the problem was that it had to be tested, but no one was brave enough to test it because a number of things could go wrong.
             One day, Jeremiah put up a poster about this new machine and all that it could do and told everyone that he needed somebody to test it out. The ad went unanswered for about 1 year and then finally Pam Watkins came to Mr. Wilson and said that she wanted to be the prettiest woman alive. So he stuck her in the machine and she came out 10 minutes later and she was, she was the prettiest woman ever. So, when she walked into town and everyone noticed how gorgeous she was, she told them about Mr. Wilson's machine and what it had done for her.
             So, since everyone had heard about this machine and how it worked, it seemed that almost the whole town flocked to Mr. Wilson's place to see for themselves what this machine could do for them. There were people who were becoming the best athletes, businessmen, doctors, cowboys, you name it, it was being done. But, about six months after these people went through the machines, changes started happening; bad changes. Their hair started falling out, they started shrinking because their bones started to decay. They all became really sick, where they couldn't move because they were so tired all the time and they all slowly just began to die. Now, not everyone in the town used the machine, so not all of them were dying. But about 30 people died because of the effects of the machine. No one is really sure what caused this to happen.
