An Overlooked Killer

             With all the murder in the world, one form is overlooked by almost the entire western world. Police should start looking in the hospitals for many homicides everyday.
             Abortion is the horrible and blatant killing of a human being before the person even experiences our wonderful world. Abortion is a cheap way out of a pregnancy and it should be stopped. In this article, Kerby Anderson explains the problems with abortion through biblical, medical, and philosophical arguments.
             Anderson tells of how abortion is wrong by referring to the bible for answers. In "Psalm 139" David tells of how he is knitted together in his mother's womb. He goes on to speak of how his relationship with God grows as he develops inside his mother. In "Psalm 51" David speaks of how he was sinful from the time his mother conceived him. That demonstrates how a human has a soul from the time it is conceived. By killing this fetus, you are killing a human with a soul, and that is murder.
             Not only are there moral reasons wrong with abortion, medical problems arise also. Many doctors argue that the DNA of and embryo and the DNA of that same adult are identical. Most deaths are called when a person's heart stops, but a baby's heart is formed by the 18th day and they are killed many days later. Also with sonograms a doctor can look into the womb and not only see the child developing, but playing and kicking too. All of these arguments provide strong evidence that abortions are killers.
             Another question that comes up with abortion is what date to draw the line. Judges for years have argued that a fetus was a human, but the courts wouldn't stop abortion because the constitution only protects persons. This loophole is ludicrous and should not exist.
