I'm writing my report on the life of Allen Ezail Iverson. The cutest player in the NBA, not Kobe Bryant and them wack Lakers. Allen Iverson was born June. 7, 1979 in Hampton, VA. As a young boy he stayed in the projects and was the son of his 15 year old single mother. The building that they stayed in was on top of the city's sewer and when the sewer pipes would burst, the floor would be covered with sewage. His mother who's name is Ann, had a hard time making enough money to support her family. Sometimes they went without water and lights. Iverson is not a only child. He has two younger sisters, Brandy who was born in 1979 and Iiesha who was born in 1991. The bills got worse after Iiesha was born because she had seizures and they had to pay medical bills.
             He never really had a father figure around until 1991. His real father stayed in Connecticut, where they used to stay before Iverson was born. He is now in jail for charges on stabbing a former girlfriend. The man that they do know as a father is Michael Freeman who is also the man that thought Iverson to play ball and has also been in and out of jail. Unfortunately in '91 he got into a car accident that made him have to quit his job. He was so desperate for money to provide for his "family" that he started to sell drugs. He was later caught and convicted of drug possession. In a interview with Iverson he said that the man was just trying to do good for his family, he never stole anything. As of this moment he is still serving time at the same Virginia jail that Iverson was sent to in '93.
             On Valentine's day Iverson and some of his friends, who were all black and jocks went to the local bowling alley. Iverson was well know in the town because just two months early he had led his high school football team to the state championship and was in the process of doing the same in basketball.
