However, not every nation accepted this sexual inverse. In England, the Lord Chamberlain's Office had forbidden homosexuals to reveal their sexual identity and sodomy is a penalty of murder or a life sentence in the English law. It is evident that some homosexuality occurred in ancient nations and primitive tribes. Around the 1900s it is believed that homosexual is "increased by wars" and sometimes by the segregation of men women when they have to go to the Army or Navy for a long period of time (Berg & Alan, 19). This meant that the urges towards homosexuality were apparently found in mammals, but according to many research homosexuality was not a biological construction, it was more like someone choosing to be homosexuals, bisexuals, and heterosexuals. Since no one really know what caused one to be gay, lesbian, or bisexual, homosexual marginalized sexual orientation became a puzzle for people to solve on their on.
