September 11th 2001, the day that my life had changed in an irreversible way. Awake in the middle of the night, half asleep as the first plane struck the world trade centre towers, I was unable to comprehend what I was seeing. Though the moment that the second plane crashed into the second tower, I knew this was no accident. What seemed to be a nightmare only got worse. It has taken the death of thousands of people and unforgiving images to alert the western world of the issues of the Middle East which we have turned a blind eye to for to long. Just over a year since that fatal day, our world seems to be changing at an ever-greater pace as we live in what seems to be these days an unsafe society. In the next few decisive months, the world juggles the idea of continuing its war against terror by moving the campaign into Iraq. Their ruthless leader Saddam Hussein will never surrender, and with the threats that he imposes at present, the only way to overthrow him is to simply kill him. Saddam's list of war crimes and crimes against humanity create evidence that needs military action.
