As days go by and our lives seem safe with out a sight of trouble. No worries because while you're at home relaxing the government is out there making all the decisions for the states with out an okay from us. The only thing that ya'll don't know is that little by little our rights are being changed or broken. Soon enough our freedom will be vanished faster than a forest on fire and we will eventually walk in straight lines with chains locked on our hands and legs. There is only one way to make sure our rights are safe and respected. The Constitution is not only there to be looked at but to show that we will fight for our freedom.
             John Locke once said that without a government, everyone would have to defend their own rights and would be in constant danger of loosing them. Not all human's are rational or good and for that reason people would try to take or violate your rights. The government was made to protect the unalienable rights which means that no one will be able to interfere with your life, and your freedom to buy and hold property. The number one solution for all this was made and called a social contract. Its an agreement between each individual to create a government and live under it. It also gives the government power to make and to enforce laws.
             Some of Locke's ideas where then used in The Declaration of Independence by Thomas Jefferson. He stated Locke's idea about the unalienable rights that we will always carry with us. We have the liberty to have a safe life and have the privilege to hold property while being happy in our environment. He used the social contract and told the people that they now have a part of what goes on in their state. They will no longer stand back and let unknown people make decisions that are suppose to have some kind of consent from the people.
