Daily Math

Picture yourself sitting in a class and not knowing how to do math. Math is everywhere in our daily lives. Right now we need it in High School. We have to have it about in every class. For example Metals, Chemistry, and Drafting. You use it everywhere you are.
Take for instance shopping. You use it when you go shopping, you have to figure prices and use equations to find out the difference in clothes. You use equations to find out the discounts or sale prices for some merchandise. If you need to find out how much it is, it's comes in handy on finding out how much merchandise will cost, it helps out quite a bit.
In Drafting, you have to measure different angles and look at different objects. If you don't know how to measure then you aren't going to be able to take some fun classes that are offered here at Maize High School. Drafting is not to be taken unless you are able to read a ruler; if you don't understand how to do that then you need to go back to basic math. It requires you to measure lengths and draw them. If you don't know how to understand that completely then you aren't fit to take that class.
Take for example cooking, you have to measure different ingredients and pour them in correctly. You have to make sure that you are using the right measuring unit. If you don't then you might mess up your project that you are cooking. Also make sure that if you have to add something to do it correctly or your project could mess up. Math is everywhere in our daily lives.
