Abortion

Abortion is a subject that has been in the political spotlight since 1973, when the Supreme Court ruling of Roe v. Wade made it legal. Since then there has been debate after debate, in courtrooms, in classrooms, and though out the general public, on weather or not it is right. My position on abortion is Pro-life, this paper is to give a little reasoning behind why I believe that way and why abortion should be stopped.
Number one reason I do not understand abortion is how you can take a life, and try to justify it by saying that the baby is unwanted and wouldn't have a chance at a good life. It maybe an unwanted pregnancy, but not an unwanted child, there are, over 200,000 couples in the US who are looking to adopt. How can anyone say what can happen in a child's life if you give them the chance. One example, a woman has tuberculosis, and the father has syphilis, and together they had four children. The first was born blind, the second still born, the third was deaf, and the fourth was born with TB. Now they are pregnant with their fifth child. Should they abort? Some people would say yes, that the baby doesn't have a chance. That baby that didn't have a chance was born, lived his life to become one of the greatest composers in history, his name, Beethoven. Now not saying that every child will be a Beethoven, or have a great life, but who are we to make that decision for a person. We find it immoral to kill someone who is unable to perform due to physical and mental problems, and might not make it in life but it's okay to kill an unborn child because you don't believe they will perform well in life, or won't have the opportunity to. Either way you look at it, it is murder, and it's wrong. You don't have to have religious-beliefs to know that taking a life is not right, so how can you justify this.
The other thing I do not understand about abortion is how the Dr.'s try and make the woman
