Cradled in its warmth, protected from the surroundings of the world, visions shattered. People know in their hearts this is what they want, this is what they need, but can they handle the weight? What's the first thing you hear in movies before a teenage girl and guy are about to engage in sexual contact? "I Love you" and why do you think it is put into our minds like that at such a young age? Girls and guys fool themselves into thinking it's so much more then it really is and it makes their lives so incomplete. The world teaches us that when you use that word to describe such "strong" feelings for one another, it's okay for the relationship to move into something more serious such as sex. Teenagers over use the word to get what they want and to give a false feeling of security. When society feeds our minds with TV world drama and that's what we incorporate into our own lives. Artificial approaches to relationships are all we know of now a day. Love is such a complicated word to use to describe feelings; it's used in all the wrong ways.
Things now compared to when teen sex was not such a huge problem have changed a lot. The meaning of love had to dealt with work and courtship and now it's just a given, its expected. It had so much more meaning when people appreciated each other. It was a lifetime decision to make. Now you can fall in and out of love as fast as water pouring out a bucket. All the superficial feelings balled up into one giant meaningless waste of time. Yea, sure you have the memories that last forever, but it takes more time to get over the "love hump" and the break up time because of the feelings that are implied. Love should be for grown adults and not for children because children are not ready for the sacrifices they have to make.
