35,000 years ago, the Neanderthals densely populated the southern regions of France. They were the first human species to adapt in a frozen continent. They inhabited in limestone caves situated on the valleys.
             They were strong ,intelligent , and highly adapted species that were well equipped for survival. They'd kidnap adult females from other clans to double their chances of reproducing. Some encounters are voluntary exchanges. The father and the son are the most vulnerable in the harsh climates. Childhood is the most dangerous time because the fathers' standard of survival was quite high.
             To coupe with the physical demands in their lives, they consumed 4000 calories a day; 7000 would be the most. That is three times more than we can absorb. Their skill in harnessing a fire was a key to survival. They would butcher animals and use the heat to kill off the parasites and the deadly bacteria. They used animal skin for protection from harsh climates.
             The Neanderthals were limited with the communication skills we have to adapt to social needs. Their contact are shared through simple gestures and calls. Grooming is what bonded the clan together which demonstrated a sense of loyalty, affection, and trust that coupes them from all the tension in this world.
             Had the Neanderthals birthrates been two percent higher, they wouldn't be extinct at all. Four out of five Neanderthals never see their 40th birthday. While it was possible that the Neanderthals and Cromagnons were similar enough to reproduce, it did not better the Neanderthals chances.
             The video's true highlight lies in the costumes that resembled their appearance and the idealistic atmosphere by which gave me a mental image of how they defined our history.
