             The Visioning Process consists of gathering groups of volunteers from the community and utilizing manpower from community groups and businesses. These volunteers are then trained to facilitate interviews within the community, and hold a series of open sessions with community members to generate ideas and goals. 87 goals were generated in Syracuse, and a 'Vision Fair' was held at the convention center. Over 4,000 people attended the Vision Fair and registered their votes as to which goals were most important to them in order to determine the community's priorities.
