Goals are finishing points of something you are doing or trying to improve. Many people set goals

to make sure they follow through on what they are doing or like to feel satisfaction for a job well

done. Goals can be anything from excelling at your job or school to getting in shape to regain

your old form. My goals are a combination of both school and sports linked together at the

college level. I would like to graduate, as well as excelling in baseball to play at the collegiate

To reach my goals a lot of hard work both in the classroom and outside the class room is

necessary. On the school side I must go to my classes and do all my work to a higher standard

than in the past, this means working at my highest level to finish every assignment to the fullest.

negative distractions during school work times such as TV or socializing. As for baseball I must

work both in the weight room and on the field. Strength and conditioning are very important in

baseball. In order to be a great player you must work hard to stay fit and strong all year long.

This means that, especially in the off-season, I will be working out. To do this I must exercise at

least 3 times a week, running everyday. On the field throwing and hitting as much as possible are

a must. You can never practice too much. I go to the field everyday I am not lifting weights and

work on my hitting and throwing for several hours.

Aspirations are thoughts I do not like to focus on. The reason for this is because anything

I think of I expect myself to do. Failing is not an option in my mind and only the weak can, in

their minds, see themselves in a situation where they will fail. Expectations on the other hand,

frequent my mind at every turn. I expect to...
