1) A warrior kind would finish all their work that they started. Gilgamsh even said this himself with the quote "He who leaves the fight unfinished is not at peace." A warrior also never wanted to be at war- always at peace. All people should strive to be peaceful and not go to war.
2) In The Epic of Gilgamesh, dreams are used to foreshadow both positive and negative events. One such foreshadowing is when Gilgamesh dreams about a man who was as strong as him, but then a shepherd appears and tells him about the man. Gilgamesh sent the Harlot so bring Enkidu to earth.
3) In The Epic of Gilgamesh, Utpanpish was awarded immortality by the gods because he survived the giant flood. What they didn't know what that it was partially accidental. Gilgamesh wants immortality because of all of his good deeds he has done during his life.
4) In Gilgamesh, the story starts out positive with the friendship between Gilgamesh and Enkidu. Later on however, that changes when Enkidu dies. By the end of the story, it takes a turn for the worst.

7) An archetype is a pattern or them that reoccures in many different cutltures. Two insights that gilgamesh gathers from his journey was that immortality can not be reach. He also learned that nothing is more vital than his friendships.
8) The Bible was written before and after 0 BC. Gilgamesh was supposedly king from 2700 -2500 BC. Its import to knot the dates becayse the tell of the age of this exceptional story.
9) In a pastoral poem, the audience wishes to be a pat of the rural soceity. Pastoral poetry was developed in Egypt from the New Kingdom.
10) The Egyptian view on death and afterlife was positive! If you were good, you were rewarded compared to the Sumerian culture
