Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever. No other NBA player has had as much success as Michael. Not only was he the greatest basketball player but he also was the most marketable. He also has led the NBA in steals 3 seasons. He has been selected the NBA's MVP 5 times. He holds the NBA record for most seasons leading the league in scoring (10). From 1986-87 to 1992-93 Michael led the league in scoring a record tying seven years in a row. His career high for points in a game is 69 that came against Cleveland in 1990. One of only 7 players ever to lead their team in 4 statistical categories scoring, assists, rebounds and steals and the only rookie to ever do so. During the 1995-96 season Michaels Bulls won a NBA record 72 games only losing 10. Michael has won 2 gold medals in the 1984 and 1992 Olympic games. He holds the NBA record for most games consecutively reaching double digits in scoring 840 games in a row.
             Michael has made 11 All-Star appearances in his career not being able to play in 85-86 due to an ankle injury. He holds the record for scoring average in the All Star games with 21.3 points per game. During the 1988 All Star game held in his hometown Chicago he scored 40 points and beat out Dominique Wilkins for the slam-dunk trophy by dunking from the free throw line.
