Techniques and Tactics for Paintball

             Look at where the bunkers are and where the center of the field is. Make sure that you know where all of the main bunkers are on the field, this will make it easier for you to pick a bunker to go to off of the break. A good bunker must protect you form the opponents paint and will allow you to look around. Always keep your eyes on the field. Players start moving to a bunker and often get eliminated because they were not looking sideways before they moved ahead. This is a very common mistake that even advanced players sometimes make. Don't focus too much on one spot of the field, make sure that you know where all of your opponents are and that you know where all of your players are so that you can communicate to them easy.
             Communication is very important when you are playing paintball. If you do not communicate with your team members then you will get shot out faster. While in a game you want to yell to your other players where opponents are when you see them, also yell to them when one of your players gets out so they don't try to communicate with a player that they still thought was in the game. Whenever you are about to move to a new bunker you want to make sure that you let all of the players on your team know that you are going to move so that they are able to keep the opponents in their bunkers while you move. Making up codes names for things such as "cover me" is a good idea, this makes it so that the other team doesn't know what you are saying to your team members, but your whole team knows that you want to move, and help you out.
             Whether you are playing on a speedball course or just in the woods there can be more players than there are bunkers. Several players end up going to the same bunker and trying to hide behind it and eventually will knock each other out of the bunker, exposing themselves out in the open to the other team.
