Marriage is very important because it is an institution which promotes stability, family, and is societies lawful way of connecting two people. Marriage allows a couple to officially announce their commitment in the relationship in the eyes of their friends, family, communities, God, the government, and themselves. It is viewed as the first step to the rest of their lives and step stone towards being a family.
