             Moral responsibility can be defined has someone having both knowledge and control over the outcome of an event. In this case, moral responsibility can be divided among the medical school supply store, and the manufacturer. Knowing he was selling used pacemakers, the supply store had the knowledge of what kind of product he was selling and to whom, and the control to stop it. While the hospital should have examined the product efficiently before installation, he should have never sold it in the first place, without any means of justification of his actions.
