I thought very hard about what would best represent me as a student. What object would show all the qualities and characteristics that I have. In order to figure this problem out I had to figure out what qualities and characteristics I have as a student. I decided I would make a list. I came up with persistence, hard working, fun, enjoyable, at times a procrastinator, quiet, well reserved, responsible, reliable, hospitable, and welcoming. I came up with one object that sums up all these qualities a "watch." I chose a watch as my metaphor.
             I have came up with eight qualities and characteristics of how I relate to a watch. I am a persistent person. I won't stop until I have accomplished what I set out to do. I am very persistent when it comes to schoolwork I will never stop doing it until I am finished with the assignment, and if I do it wrong I will try again. The watch is also persistent it never stops working it always runs. I am quiet and well reserved. I am not as out spoken as most and I listen more than talk. The watch is very quiet you can't hear it no matter how quiet your soundings are. I am responsible and reliable. I am always on time and I get homework or projects done on time never late. The watch is also reliable because it never stops telling the time no matter what, and it is also the correct time. I am hard working, I will work as hard as I possibly can for as long as it takes to finish something. The watch is also hard working, it runs in all conditions and will go forever in the conditions. I am fun and enjoyable. I like to have fun and enjoy life. The watch is also fun and enjoyable. Everyone enjoys to wear a nice watch and some watches have games to play on them. At times I tend to procrastinate. I can sometimes procrastinate if the work isn't important to me. I will put it off until before class or the night before it is due.
