Physical Journeys

             There is a path that we as human beings, follow throughout our lives that divide and multiply, leaving us with not only opportunities, choices and decisions, but also obstacles and mazes. It is this path that helps us to become better acquainted with ourselves, as well as those around us. It also helps guide us towards the people we are today. It is through these paths that we journey to a place where we are able to understand ourselves and make decisions that will effect the rest of our journey called life.
             I have been chosen by my peers to represent my school at this Youth Forum where I will discuss with you the topic of 'life is a series of journeys'. Journeys are most generally described as moving from on point to another, which is commonly known as a physical journey, which occurs more often. However, there are also a number of other forms of journeys, in which we embark on in a number of ways. Inner journeys occur when an individual's emotions, feelings or thoughts are changed due to a physical journey of some kind. Another form of a journey is an imaginative journey, whereby; the individual uses his or her imagination to create this journey, which will occur in their mind. However, it is quite possible to have an inner journey or an imaginative journey while embarking on a physical journey. This inturn will spark a series of journeys. For example, you are on the bus to school, you are enduring a physical journey, however, while on that physical journey, you may have an inner journey, for example you fight off a bully that is picking on your best friend, this may change the person you are inside. This physical journey could also involve an imaginative journey, where you may imagine your bus breaking down then spontaneously combusting, preventing you from going to school that day.
