A Wall Street Poet's Painful Muse - THURSDAY, September 12, 2002
             This article caught my eye because of the title. A Wall Street Poet's Painful Muse. The 'Poet's Painful' part of the title grabbed me. I began to read it because of the first sentence also. This article had to do with the world trade center. My brother writes poetry like it is nothing. It comes naturaly to him. So I can relate to Mr. Schlanger in a way. This article is of importance becuase I am American and it had to do with the world trade center. All of us Americans are linked to the attack, even if we haven't lost a friend or family member.
             What I have learned about business from this article is really just that no matter where you work from, you can always have something else that interests you. If you are a football player, who knows, you might be interested in gardening. Maybe you work for Wall Street, but you have an interest in something very relaxing like poetry. This guy does. You can't judge somebody from their outsides. You can't judge them becuase of where they work. Yes, this man works in Wall Street, very powerful place to be working, but he has a softer side. When you think of Wall Street you think of bold, tough, long day, men, suits, all of that businessy type of stuff. All I am trying to say is that it doesn't matter what business you work for, that person has other likes and dislikes just like anybody else.
